I'm half Italian and half Austrian, and though I grew up here in Italy, I know the Austrian culture very well. My family teached me German and we visit Austria a couple of times a year, so I know Austria good enough to say I'm not just Italian, I'm Austrian too. Growing up knowing two different cultures helped me a lot by recognizing cultural and social differences, opposite points of view and opinions, different ways of living life. Thinking about this I consider myself very lucky, and I'll never be thankful enough to my family for this.
Surfing in the web, I found a blog I really love, it's called prepoceros [dot] com. It's the blog of a girl living in Texas, and she's half dutch. She posts about her life in Texas, about cultural differences between Netherlands and the USA, her passions, etc. I love reading her blog, because every time I visit it, I get to know something new about living there, because she's sincere and honest every time she writes something.
And this is what I'd like to achieve with this simple blog: writing about me and my life in Italy and in Austria, my passions, my thoughts. It would be an honour if you comment or write me back, sharing your thoughts and opinions. I'm sorry for my bad English, but I decided to write in this language to get more visibility in different Nations, so you can write me back wherever you're from, and maybe I'll get to know something new about your culture as well.
I hope you will enjoy this blog.
Sincerely,
die gebackene Maus.
